Biography

Upon graduating high school in 1982, I moved from the suburbs of Philadelphia to the jersey shore. It was then I started my journey in Real Estate. Initially it was in the building sector of the industry. I began working for and learning from the communities most talented builders. After 7 years of internship, creating my attention for detail and honing my skills it was time for me to obtain my builders license which I did in 1989. Shortly thereafter I met my wife and partner Phyllis Scherr. Phyllis at that time was a business owner on the island. She had a real flare and love for arts and architecture in particular. We quickly decided to merge our talents and formed Troy Rosen Builders. Phyllis was our layout and design specialist with my focus on the building process. Together we ran and grew the business until 2004. It was then we made our seamless transition from building homes to marketing and selling homes. It quickly became apparent we had found our new passion in Real Estate. Our first year in business we achieved the Circle of Excellence Award and have increased our business substantially each of the following years. In 2008 we were fortunately enough to be one of the top ten sales agents in Atlantic County.
